Gorakhpur, March 14 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, stated that no other nation or faith globally boasts a festival tradition as vibrant as Sanatan Dharma. "Our faith serves as the strength of Sanatan Dharma, while the essence of this faith resides in its festivals," he remarked.

The Chief Minister highlighted how the Sanatan festival tradition unites people with zeal and joy throughout India — from the North to the South and from the East to the West — all year round.

Speaking to a large audience during the inauguration of the Rangbhari Shobha Yatra of Lord Narasimha on Friday, CM Yogi noted that the event, organized by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and Shri Holikotsav Samiti, commenced from Ghantaghar on the occasion of Holi.

Offering his greetings to the state's residents, the Chief Minister remarked, "According to our mythological narratives, being born in India is rare — and even rarer is being born in human form under Sanatan Dharma."

He pointed out that those who formerly criticized Sanatan Dharma have now recognized its strength, citing the Prayagraj Mahakumbh as a prime example.

"During the Maha Kumbh, over 66 crore devotees took a sacred dip in the holy Triveni, affirming their faith. Sanatanis worldwide, regardless of region, caste, or language, have enriched their lives by embracing this sacred tradition," he stated.

Discussing the global significance of the Prayagraj Maha Kumbh, the Chief Minister commented, "The world observed with wonder and curiosity. Sanatan Dharma conveyed a strong message of unity globally. The event demonstrated remarkable discipline and decorum, with no incidents causing embarrassment to the Sanatani community."

He urged those who defame Sanatan Dharma under the guise of caste and untouchability to witness the Maha Kumbh. "In Prayagraj, whether a head of state or a common person, the most esteemed religious leader or a village yogi, everyone took a holy dip at the same ghat with equal devotion," he asserted.

Targeting critics, CM Yogi stated that those who attempt to undermine Sanatan Dharma are the same individuals who opposed the construction of the Ram Temple, supported cow smuggling, and doubted India’s potential for growth. "The intentions of such individuals towards the nation and Sanatan Dharma are widely known," he remarked.

Quoting the fundamental principle of Sanatan Dharma, the CM stated, "Sanatan Dharma has only one declaration — Yato Dharmastatah Jayah (Where there is Dharma, there will be victory). The path to victory requires dedicated effort and unwavering commitment. The more intense the sadhana (spiritual practice), the greater the accomplishment."

He emphasized that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of a developed India can only be fulfilled when the nation stands united. "When India comes together, it will emerge as the best, and no force can impede its progress," he declared. He urged everyone to commit their efforts to the service of the nation.

Wishing everyone well on the festival of Holi, CM Yogi highlighted that the festival conveys a significant message — "India will progress only through unity. If the nation remains united, the dream of 'One India, Shrestha Bharat' will undoubtedly be realized."

Referring to the incarnation of Lord Narasimha, he characterized it as both a caution and an inspiration. "The arrogance of figures like Hiranyakashyap cannot prevail. Conversely, if we tread the path of truth, as shown by devotee Prahlad, divine blessings will always follow," he concluded.

The RSS State Pracharak, Ramesh Ji, also addressed the audience. He emphasized the importance of this year's Holi following the historic Maha Kumbh. He lauded CM Yogi's leadership, under which the world witnessed the magnificence and goodwill of Sanatan Dharma.

After his address, CM Yogi performed the traditional 'aarti' of Lord Narasimha. Offerings of flowers, fruits, colors, abir, gulal, coconut, and gujiya were made as part of the rituals. The Chief Minister participated in the festivities, showering flower petals, abir, and gulal on the enthusiastic attendees.
