Mahakumbh Nagar, Feb 1 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, made a visit to Prayagraj on Saturday to assess the situation following the events of Mauni Amavasya during the Mahakumbh Mela.
He requested comprehensive reports from officials concerning the unfortunate incident that occurred at Sangam Nose during the Amrit Snan, and engaged with the devotees, who commended the government’s preparations for the Mela.
CM Yogi Adityanath arrived in Prayagraj via helicopter and went directly to the Sangam Nose site, where a tragic stampede incident had recently taken place.
Upon his arrival, he examined the site and received an extensive briefing from Mela Officer Vijay Kiran Anand and DIG Vaibhav Krishna about the situation.
