Mumbai, March 14 (NationPress) On his 51st birthday this past Friday, actor Ajay Devgn celebrated his 'bro' Rohit Shetty with a humorous post, stating that the director makes madness look like magic on screen.
Ajay frequently collaborates with Rohit, and their partnership has yielded some of Bollywood’s biggest blockbusters, including Zameen, the Golmaal series, All the Best: Fun Begins, the Singham series, and Bol Bachchan, among others.
The actor took to Instagram to share a comical clip of a toy car colliding with a toy truck—an element that Rohit is renowned for. The director is well-known for his adrenaline-pumping action sequences that feature exploding cars, thrilling car chases, slow-motion blasts, and soaring SUVs.
Ajay also posted a photo of the two of them together, captioning it: “Tere hisse ke bhi aaj maine hi udaa diye… To the man who makes madness look like magic Happy birthday, bro! @itsrohitshetty.”
The latest project they worked on together was “Singham 3.” This film, based on an original story by Kshitij Patwardhan, stars Ajay Devgn in the lead role, alongside Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, and Jackie Shroff.
“Singham 3” marks the fifth entry in Shetty's Cop Universe franchise. The movie was filmed across various locations, including Mumbai, Hyderabad, Kashmir, and Sri Lanka.
On the acting front, Ajay is set to appear in the sequel to “Son of Sardaar” featuring Mrunal Thakur and Sanjay Dutt. The original Son of Sardaar, released in 2012, starred Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, and Juhi Chawla.
The 2012 film was inspired by S. S. Rajamouli's 2010 Telugu movie Maryada Ramanna.
He also has “De De Pyaar De 2.” Directed by Anshul Sharma, this sequel features R. Madhavan as well. The first part of the franchise, “De De Pyaar De,” premiered in May 2019.
