Ananya shared this moment on her Instagram stories, re-posting a photo originally uploaded by Anushka Yoga. In the snapshot, the actress is captured focusing intently on a lit candle set on a table in a dimly lit room.
Anushka Yoga commented: “Ananya Panday practicing #Trataka meditation. Focus, stillness, clarity.”
Ananya reposted with just a candle and joined hands emoji as her caption.
The term "Trataka" is derived from Sanskrit, meaning "to gaze" or "to focus." This ancient practice is embedded in the spiritual rituals of Hinduism and Buddhism, initially serving as a method to cleanse the mind and internal organs.
Last month, Ananya also shared a heartfelt post donning her late “dadi” Snehlata Panday’s silver anklets on her Instagram stories.
She wrote: “Found my dadi’s payals.”
On the professional front, the actress made her debut with Karan Johar's "Student of the Year 2" in 2019. Recently, she appeared in "Call Me Bae" and "CTRL," both available on OTT platforms.
Next, she will star alongside Lakshya Lalwani, who debuted in film with “Kill,” in the upcoming romantic flick “Chand Mera Dil.”
Both Ananya and Lakshya shared multiple posters from the film on their Instagram accounts, suggesting it revolves around the theme of “love.”
Set to debut in 2025, the film is directed by Vivek Soni, known for “Meenakshi Sundareshwar,” which starred Sanya Malhotra and Abhimanyu Dassani in 2021.
Additionally, she is reportedly cast in a lead role for an upcoming film featuring Akshay Kumar and R. Madhavan.
Produced by Dharma Productions and helmed by Karan Singh Tyagi, this untitled drama will narrate the inspiring journey of C. Sankaran Nair, a notable lawyer who challenged the British Empire in the 1920s through a significant legal struggle.
