Mumbai, April 24 (NationPress) Television actress Dalljiet Kaur candidly shared her experiences of managing her roles as a producer, actress, and a single mother during a recent conversation with IANS.
When questioned about the differences between production and acting, Dalljiet explained, "It is quite challenging. As an actress, my primary concern is to deliver a strong performance; however, as a producer, I carry the weight of ensuring a quality product is created."
On whether she is relishing this new chapter in her career, she responded, "Absolutely! After two decades in the industry, I’ve realized that I want to explore beyond just acting, as the knowledge I’ve acquired over the years deserves to be utilized. It’s not a simple task, but it’s a challenge I’m eager to embrace."
Dalljiet was also asked how she manages to dedicate time to her son Jaydon amidst her hectic schedule. In reply, the actress shared, "I’ve moved to Pune, which allows me to spend quality, uninterrupted time with Jaydon. We enjoy a lot of wonderful moments together. He is excelling in school and has developed a passion for tennis and drums, which brings me immense joy. We are navigating through everything together and will have it all figured out soon."
When reflecting on how 2025 has been progressing for her, Dalljiet remarked, "Life is coming together beautifully. God has been gracious; I have received immense love and support. Restarting everything has been challenging, but it is what it is, and each day I am piecing it back together."
Talking about her upcoming projects, Dalljiet mentioned, "My episodes of 'Katha Vachak' are airing every Saturday, where I host a mythological show presenting a well-known character from our history. Additionally, I will soon appear in 'Nidar E Ishq' alongside Iqbal Khan. We are reuniting after 'Choona Hai Aasman'. This story is quite impactful and was one of the first tales I penned down."
