Mumbai, Feb 5 (NationPress) Hollywood star Danny Ramirez has expressed his admiration for fellow actor Anthony Mackie. The two collaborated in the forthcoming superhero film ‘Captain America: Brave New World’.
Danny praised Anthony for his impeccable sense of humor and noted that he possesses one of the finest storytelling abilities, infused with humor.
He remarked, “Anthony brings a great deal of humor and authenticity to his role. He ranks among the funniest and best storytellers I’ve encountered, and in doing so, he encourages everyone to embrace their true selves. From a leadership perspective, he shoulders that responsibility, giving us all the freedom to experiment by simply observing him. This approach aligns seamlessly with his leadership in the film as well.”
‘Captain America: Brave New World’ is helmed by Julius Onah, featuring a screenplay penned by Rob Edwards along with the writing teams of Malcolm Spellman & Dalan Musson, as well as Onah and Peter Glanz. The cast includes Shira Haas, Carl Lumbly, Xosha Roquemore, Johannes Haukur Jóhannesson, Giancarlo Esposito, Tim Blake Nelson, and Harrison Ford.
In this film, Anthony’s character is embroiled in an international crisis. ‘Captain America: Civil War’ marked the conclusion of the Captain America trilogy featuring Chris Evans as Steve Rogers, with Wilson taking on the role of the new Captain America in ‘The Falcon’ and the ‘Winter Soldier’.
Principal photography commenced on March 21, 2023, at Trilith Studios in Atlanta, Georgia, initially under the working title ‘Rochelle Rochelle’. Kramer Morgenthau served as the cinematographer. Onah aimed for the film's action to be “grounded and tactile,” providing Wilson with new opportunities that hadn’t been explored in his earlier appearances.
The movie is slated for release in theaters on February 14, 2025, in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
