Mumbai, Feb 6 (NationPress) Actress Janhvi Kapoor took to social media to convey her profound pride and affection for her younger sister, Khushi Kapoor, as she gears up for her debut in the film “Loveyapa”.
In a heartfelt post, Janhvi praised Khushi’s commitment to her craft and the hard work she has invested in her inaugural role. The ‘Dhadak’ actress humorously requested Khushi to don a t-shirt featuring her face, reminiscent of what Janhvi herself wore.
On Thursday, Janhvi shared several pictures on her Instagram showcasing the two sisters in a loving embrace, posing together. The 'Bawaal' actress donned a black crop top with the title “Loveyapa” emblazoned on it, which also displayed a childhood picture of both Janhvi and Khushi.
In her caption, Janhvi wrote, “My Khushu is bringing romcoms! So proud of you, Khushu, for staying focused, working diligently, and pursuing your passion with honesty, dedication, strength, and kindness. #Loveyapa hits theatres near you from tomorrow. The cutest little romcom filled with fun, laughter, fresh energy, and a hint of [emotion]... but maybe that’s just me because I can’t stand to see my Khushu cry!!!!!!! PS. You better wear a t-shirt with my face on it when my movie premieres.”
On a related note, “Loveyapa,” directed by Advait Chandan, marks the cinematic debut of both Khushi and Aamir Khan’s son, Junaid Khan. The film, which also stars Ashutosh Rana, Tanvika Parlikar, and Kiku Sharda, is set to release in theatres on February 7.
Yesterday, a special screening was conducted in Mumbai, attended by Bollywood luminaries such as Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and legendary actors Rekha and Dharmendra, among others.
Notably, despite being at the same venue on the same evening, SRK and Salman arrived independently and were seen taking photos separately. Both stars were present at the screening, but at different intervals.
