Chennai, Feb 1 (NationPress) Tamil actor Karthi revealed that Telugu superstar Nagarjuna has always been incredibly supportive, even going so far as to remove parts of speed bumps in his studio to ensure Karthi, who cycles daily, could enjoy a smoother ride!
Karthi recently spoke at an event organized by the team behind the Telugu film Thandel, featuring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi in lead roles, where he elaborated on the immense affection he has received from Nagarjuna.
Karthi commented, “Nagarjuna sir holds a legendary status here following his role in Idhayathai Thirudathe. His charming manner of speaking is unparalleled.”
“I have been to Telugu cinema and collaborated with Nagarjuna sir. The shooting took place exclusively at his studio. From the moment I arrived, I was genuinely touched by the warm welcome I received,” Karthi shared, noting that Nagarjuna pays attention to every detail to ensure his comfort.
“He would frequently ask, ‘Is Karthi content?’ and keep checking on my needs,” Karthi recounted, recalling the time he worked on the film Thoza with Nagarjuna.
“During my lunch breaks, I would ride my bicycle. There were many speed bumps within the studio grounds. Nagarjuna must have thought, ‘These speed bumps might be causing him discomfort while cycling.’ The following day, when I went out for my usual ride, I noticed that some speed bumps had been altered. When I inquired, the staff informed me that Nagarjuna sir had instructed them to modify the speed bumps for my convenience. It was a thoughtful gesture for my benefit,” Karthi explained.
“I’m not even sure when he observed this. Nagarjuna is revered as a king in that space. He remains unaffected by anything and is genuinely loving towards everyone around him. He truly envelops you in affection,” Karthi said.
“It’s been nearly 10 years since I met him. Even today, he keeps track of my upcoming projects. He often says, ‘I need to see that film.’ If he enjoys my work, I don’t have to prompt him; he will tweet about it right away. He has given me so much love that no matter how much I reciprocate, it will never be enough,” Karthi stated to Nagarjuna’s son, Naga Chaitanya.
