Mumbai, Jan 31 (NationPress) The talented dancer Malaika Arora has shared an adorable birthday message for her sister Amrita Arora Ladak, whom she affectionately refers to as “Ammu”.
Malaika took to her Instagram stories to post a lovely picture of herself with her sister, who celebrated her 44th birthday on Friday. The snapshot captures them in a warm embrace, both smiling brightly.
In her heartfelt caption, she wrote: “Happy birthday ammu aka Jolene love u to the moon n back @amuaroraofficial.”
Amrita began her journey as a VJ and made her entry into Bollywood in 2002 alongside Fardeen Khan in the film, Kitne Door Kitne Paas. She went on to appear in titles such as Awara Paagal Deewana, Girlfriend, Speed, and Red: The Dark Side. In 2009, she featured in Deha and Team the Force, and also had a supporting role in Kambakth Ishq.
Her last appearance on the big screen was in 2009’s “Ek Tho Chance”, an erotic thriller directed by Saeed Akhtar Mirza, starring Amrita along with Purab Kohli, Ali Fazal, Pawan Malhotra, and Vijay Raaz.
Recently, Malaika visited Amrita’s newly-opened restaurant Jolene in Goa. She shared a series of pictures on Instagram, wearing a stunning yellow drape-styled outfit designed by Gabriella Demetriades.
The picturesque sunset serves as a backdrop, adding a warm orange hue to the sky, beautifully contrasting with the sea.
