Mumbai, Feb 11 (NationPress) Former Bigg Boss OTT 3 participant Poulomi Das is set to take on the lead role in the upcoming series Dulhaniya Beediwali.
The narrative centers around Nisha, a newly married woman who travels with her husband, Rohan, to her ancestral village, where they uncover a chilling curse linked to the legend of Champa(Poulomi). According to the village's ominous tradition, every man must don bridal attire to avoid a deadly outcome.
When Rohan declines to follow this custom, dark secrets begin to emerge, revealing the malevolent origins of the curse. As fear envelops the village, Nisha is forced to confront her history and race against time to safeguard Rohan and lift the curse before it’s too late.
This gripping drama intertwines mystery, cultural traditions, and supernatural elements, promising an exhilarating viewing experience. The talented actress last appeared in ALTT’s Nagvadhu- Ek Zehreeli Kahani.
Regarding her background, Poulomi was a participant in the second season of India's Next Top Model. In 2016, she was announced to join Suhani Si Ek Ladki as Baby, followed by her role as Ananya Puri in Dil Hi Toh Hai. In 2020, she played the lead role of Purnima in Kartik Purnima. She has also been featured in the web series Paraushpur and Naagin 6.
Last year, Poulomi participated in the third season of the Indian reality digital series Bigg Boss OTT, hosted by Bollywood star Anil Kapoor. The Grand Finale occurred in August 2024, with Sana Makbul taking home the title and Naezy Sheikh as the runner-up.
