Mumbai, Feb 8 (NationPress) Rashmi Desai has participated in various television series throughout her career. Like many other actors in the TV industry, she dreams of collaborating with some of Bollywood's most acclaimed directors. In a recent exclusive conversation with IANS, she shared her aspirations regarding the directors she wishes to work with.
Rashmi Desai stated, “I have mentioned this numerous times and will reiterate today. I aspire to collaborate with Imtiaz Ali and Sanjay Leela Bhansali. I am prepared to audition and hope to have the chance in this lifetime to work alongside them. The way they offer a fresh outlook on life is truly remarkable.”
When questioned about whether Bollywood tends to typecast television actors, she responded, “Yes, they do. Challenges are a part of life. When you put in effort and deliver quality work, you are destined to enjoy the rewards of your hard work. Yes, you encounter hurdles; they often categorize you as a television actor, OTT actor, or film actor, but I believe an actor is simply an actor. I also think that taking a break is equally important for an actor.”
