Mumbai, Jan 4 (NationPress) Bollywood icon Hrithik Roshan, who was last showcased in ‘Fighter’, once shared how superstar Salman Khan played a crucial role during the production of his debut film ‘Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai’.
A nostalgic clip of Hrithik from ‘Rendezvous with Simi Garewal’ has gained traction on social media. In this clip, Hrithik discussed how Salman Khan significantly influenced his early career.
Reflecting on the obstacles he faced as a novice actor, Hrithik mentioned, “Things got decided that I was going to be in Dad's next film. I, there was no time, and I was skinny as hell. I was half of this so you can imagine.”
With limited preparation time, Hrithik reached out to Salman Khan, whom he regarded as the best in the industry. He recounted, “I called him up just out of the blue. I had to remind him who I was... he just took me in.”
The actor revealed that Salman not only assisted him with physical training but also provided motivation during challenging periods.
Hrithik stated, “Along with training me, the moral support that he gave me was incredible. He was one of the few people who really believed that I would be a phenomenon.”
He also dismissed rumors regarding competition or insecurities, affirming, “When he's around me, you know, he's always pushing me. He's like a brother.”
In other news, Hrithik is set to appear in ‘War 2’, where he will star alongside Telugu superstar NTR Jr.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan will next be featured in ‘Sikandar’ alongside Rashmika Mandanna. The film, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by A R Murugadoss, is scheduled for release on Eid 2025.
