Jaipur, Dec 16 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Bhajan Lal Sharma, on Monday, underscored the importance of a healthy lifestyle and the necessity of regular exercise.
During his morning stroll at Central Park in Jaipur, he engaged with local residents, encouraging them to integrate physical activity into their everyday lives, regardless of their job roles. "Stay healthy, stay happy," he told the attendees.
CM Sharma also took the chance to assess the park's amenities, identifying areas in the outer circle that need improvement while recognizing the advancements already made in the inner circle. He assured the public that the noted deficiencies would be rectified swiftly. His visit to the park generated excitement among the crowd as he discussed topics related to health and the development of the state. Emphasizing the link between fitness and work efficiency, CM Sharma stated, "A healthy body and mind are crucial for enhanced performance in any task."
This is not the first occasion where CM Sharma has reached out to the community during his morning walks. He has interacted with locals at both City Park and Jawahar Circle Park in Mansarovar. During a previous visit to Central Park, he also visited the temple located within the park and addressed public concerns.
Recently, on Sunday, CM Sharma celebrated his 58th birthday, which coincided with the completion of his first year in office. Numerous leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, offered their congratulations.
In a message on the social media platform X, Prime Minister Modi praised CM Sharma, declaring, "Congratulations to the diligent leader of BJP and the popular Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Bhajan Lal Sharma, on his birthday. His extensive experience at the grassroots level is proving invaluable for the overall progress of the state. I pray for his healthy and long life."
In response, CM Sharma expressed his appreciation to the Prime Minister, stating, "Thank you sincerely for your kind and warm wishes, respected Prime Minister! It is due to your visionary leadership and effective guidance that a ‘New Rajasthan’ has emerged as a leading model of service, security, good governance, and comprehensive development in the country today."
CM Sharma continued, "Under your proactive leadership, our administration is committed to fulfilling the vision of ‘Rising Rajasthan, Developed Rajasthan." Among those who conveyed their best wishes to CM Sharma on his birthday were Union Ministers Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh, Rajasthan Governor Haribhau Bagde, and former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot.
