New Delhi, Dec 16 (NationPress) Ten students from a coaching institute located in Mahesh Nagar, Jaipur, Rajasthan, were swiftly transported to the hospital after they collapsed due to a suspected gas leak emanating from a nearby drain.
The incident, which took place on Sunday evening, caused widespread panic as students reported experiencing intense headaches and breathing difficulties.
As per police reports, initial investigations indicate that the gas leak may have originated from a drain adjacent to the institute. Additionally, smoke from the kitchen situated on the terrace of the building is being scrutinized as a possible contributing factor.
A physician from a private hospital reported that seven students were admitted with symptoms of suffocation and respiratory distress, while the others were taken to different medical facilities. 'The affected students exhibited coughing and breathlessness but are currently in stable condition,' stated the doctor.
