Safadi reiterated Jordan's commitment to supporting the Syrian populace in reconstructing their country based on principles of unity, cohesion, and the rights of all communities, while also fighting terrorism and facilitating the voluntary return of refugees, according to Xinhua news agency.

He highlighted that Jordan and Slovenia will persist in collaborating to advocate for a credible political process aimed at realizing the two-state solution, which they believe is the only feasible route to attain peace, security, and stability in the region.

Safadi and Fajon reaffirmed the strong ties between Jordan and Slovenia, discussing strategies to boost cooperation both bilaterally and within the European Union across numerous sectors, including economy, investment, information technology, tourism, defense, and security.

The two ministers also underscored the necessity of supporting Lebanon's security, stability, and institutional continuity.

Fajon reiterated Slovenia's backing for the two-state solution and condemned any forced displacement of Palestinians or annexation of Palestinian territory. She emphasized Slovenia's ongoing support for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), noting that its role is essential and irreplaceable.

She pointed out the continued collaboration between Slovenia and Jordan to fortify economic ties, especially in defense and artificial intelligence.

Fajon also stressed the need for an inclusive approach to ensure lasting peace in Syria, safeguarding the rights of all its citizens.

Concerning Lebanon, Fajon asserted that the ceasefire is crucial for restoring stability to the nation. She confirmed that Slovenia will take an active part in the UN Security Council to promote sustainable peace in Lebanon.
