Patna, Feb 8 (NationPress) As the vote counting for the Delhi Assembly elections is in progress, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha remarked on Saturday that the electoral outcome demonstrates the public's steadfast faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi and represents a strong rebuttal to the disparagement of Purvanchalis.

Vijay Sinha asserted that the results in Delhi convey a decisive message from the citizens of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, who faced alleged mistreatment during the COVID-19 lockdown under the governance of Arvind Kejriwal's AAP.

"The manner in which individuals from UP and Bihar were evacuated from Delhi by bus during the pandemic reflects vengeance for labeling Purvanchal as a disease. Arvind Kejriwal has been reprimanded for his actions against society and disrupting social cohesion," Sinha stated.

Sinha highlighted that the confidence in PM Modi remains robust throughout India, notably among the Purvanchali electorate in Delhi.

"This outcome is evidence that the nation rallies behind Narendra Modi. The residents of Delhi, particularly those hailing from Purvanchal, have manifested their trust in PM Modi's leadership,” Sinha declared.

Other BJP officials in the Bihar administration also attributed the results of the Delhi elections to PM Modi's leadership and governance approach. They asserted that the populace of Purvanchal and Bihar cast their votes against Kejriwal’s purported corruption.

Earlier, female leaders from the BJP Bihar unit celebrated the results at the party office in Patna. They joyfully colored one another and distributed sweets, expressing confidence that similar results would emerge in the upcoming assembly elections in Bihar this year.

Meanwhile, Union MSME Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi dismissed claims from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Congress regarding irregularities in Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and voter registries, labeling them as mere pretexts.

"Before the counting began, leaders from AAP and Congress started casting doubt on the EVMs and voter lists. These are simply excuses. BJP is leading AAP and will maintain this lead until the final results are declared. BJP will establish the government in Delhi," Manjhi stated.

When questioned about his absence from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s meeting with Bihar MPs in New Delhi on Friday, Manjhi explained that he was engaged in reviewing questions in the Lok Sabha.

"Other NDA MPs met with the Prime Minister, and there is no problem. The NDA coalition is solid, and we will prevail in the next Bihar Assembly elections," he reiterated.

On Friday, thirty NDA MPs, including BJP, JDU, and LJPRV, convened with the Prime Minister to express their gratitude for the project allocations in Bihar through the Union Budget for 2025-26.
