Bhopal, Feb 8 (NationPress) In response to the Delhi Assembly election results, where the BJP is poised for a significant victory, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav remarked that the residents of the national capital have delivered a strong response to the 'tukde-tukde' gang and have reaffirmed their trust in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership.

Yadav emphasized that the BJP's success in Delhi once again highlights Modi's increasing connection with the public. "The sentiments of the people nationwide are converging in a single direction," he commented.

While addressing reporters in Indore, Yadav criticized the opposition parties, specifically the so-called 'tukde-tukde' gang, accusing them of misleading the nation for years. "These factions, with their limited vision, have faced another defeat," he stated.

"They (the opposition) employed every tactic possible, yet the people of Delhi have turned them down. The public was exhausted with the corruption under the AAP government, while the Congress appeared to be fighting what looked like its final battle in Delhi," Yadav added.

He condemned the opposition alliance, saying, "They united on a foundation of falsehoods, but have now dispersed like scattered straws."

Yadav, who campaigned in nearly a dozen assembly constituencies in Delhi, claimed he sensed the electorate's mood during his visits. He also linked the results of the Haryana, Maharashtra, and Delhi elections to the direction of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

"The opposition misled the public with deceptive narratives, but these outcomes should act as a wake-up call for them," he said.

In a similar vein, senior BJP leader Narottam Mishra, who had been actively campaigning in Delhi, echoed Yadav's sentiments. "The people of Delhi have provided a fitting response to those indulging in appeasement politics," he remarked.

Adding to AAP’s dismay, former Chief Minister and party convener Arvind Kejriwal, along with several senior leaders, faced electoral defeats.

The BJP is on track to establish the next government in Delhi with a substantial lead over AAP. The party will reclaim its position in the National Capital after a 27-year hiatus.
