New Delhi, Feb 8 (NationPress) The period of experimental politics is over as the AAP has faced the wrath of voters due to corruption and misgovernance, stated BJP National Spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi on Saturday, highlighting that trends indicate the BJP is poised to establish a government in Delhi after a 27-year hiatus.

He added that the AAP’s negative politics and superficial tactics, such as the ‘Yamuna poisoning’ controversy, have been dismissed by the electorate.

The AAP has caused distress and chaos in the city through its misrule over the past decade, and it is now experiencing the repercussions of its actions, he remarked.

BJP General Secretary Arun Singh mentioned that voters have penalized the party that failed to meet their expectations.

As early trends reveal a BJP lead, party leaders expressed optimism regarding a commanding victory and credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the positive shift.

BJP MP Manoj Tiwari expressed his appreciation for the people of Delhi, stating, "We can observe the goodwill of the citizens of Delhi. We firmly believe that the way in which the public has shown their support will continue until the final count. With deep humility, I extend my respects to the people of Delhi for the trends we are witnessing."

BJP candidate Ramesh Bidhuri from Kalkaji linked the trends to public discontent with the AAP government.

"This reflects the people's mandate against Kejriwal's failures and his deceptions. The empty promises made over the last decade have been revealed. Consequently, the AAP will exit, and the BJP will take over in Delhi," he stated.

BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia underscored the faith the populace has in Prime Minister Modi’s leadership. "The trends are in, and I want to first express my gratitude to the people of Delhi, who have favored the BJP. It is evident that under PM Modi's leadership, there is total confidence in him. His assurance is unmatched anywhere in the nation," he concluded.
