Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav has initiated a digital questionnaire titled 'Citizen Survey,' a vital component of the ambitious 'Vision 2047' program, aimed at involving the populace in the state's developmental journey.

This initiative represents a significant step in creating a thorough plan for the state's progress. The state’s NITI Aayog is playing a crucial role in developing a framework for Vision 2047.

During his budget address on Wednesday, Madhya Pradesh Finance Minister Jagdish Devda stated that the state is on track to evolve into a Rs 250 lakh crore economy by 2047.

The Minister also noted that the per capita income would soar to Rs 22.35 lakh. “This survey aims to gather the hopes and views of our citizens, ensuring their essential involvement in the future planning of the state,” said Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav during the launch of the ‘vision document’ for 2047.

To ensure broad participation, a dedicated website and a QR code have been launched, allowing residents to share their thoughts and insights.

Additionally, the state government plans to hold essay competitions to motivate students across various schools to express their visions for a “Developed Madhya Pradesh @ 2047”.

Moreover, discussions at the grassroots level are already underway, reaching over 2.5 lakh citizens through ‘Jan Samvad’ programs in district forums and Gram Panchayats.

The recently launched Citizen Survey aims to broaden this inclusive initiative. Dr Yadav is optimistic about the citizens' active engagement, aspiring for a state that is progressive, self-sufficient, and unified.

The Madhya Pradesh State NITI Aayog is taking a key role in preparing the vision document for “Developed Madhya Pradesh @2047”.
