New Delhi, Feb 21 (NationPress) The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed a charge sheet in a Delhi court against two associates of Arsh Dala, a member of the Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF) based in Canada, in connection with a case involving a terror-gangster syndicate, an official reported on Friday.

The individuals identified as the key associates of the designated terrorist Arshdeep Singh, known as Arsh Dala, are Neeraj Pandit alias Neeraj Faridpuria, currently an absconder, and Anil Singh.

These two were actively involved in the murder of Jasveer Deeghot that occurred in Palwa, Haryana. While Anil was apprehended on September 5, 2024, Neeraj remains at large, according to the NIA.

The charge sheet, submitted to the NIA Special Court at Patiala House Courts in New Delhi on Thursday, noted that both were part of a terror-gangster syndicate financed by Arsh Dala.

Investigations indicated that the accused were in regular contact with Dala and various members of the Bambiha gang.

Additionally, on Wednesday, the NIA arrested three more suspects linked to a Pakistani ISI-related espionage case in Visakhapatnam, involving sensitive naval defense information. These arrests were conducted in Karnataka and Kerala with assistance from local law enforcement.

The suspects, Vethan Laxman Tandel and Akshay Ravi Naik, were taken into custody from Uttara Kannada district in Karnataka, while Abhilash P. A was arrested in Kochi on Tuesday. This brings the total number of arrests in this case to eight.

All three arrested were reportedly in communication with Pakistan Intelligence Operatives (PIOs) via social media. They exchanged sensitive information regarding Indian defense establishments at Karwar Naval Base and Kochi Naval Base and received payments from PIOs for the information, as per NIA investigations.

So far, the NIA has filed charge sheets against five individuals, including two absconding Pakistani operatives, in a case initially registered by the Counter Intelligence Cell of Andhra Pradesh in January 2021.
