Mumbai, Feb 11 (NationPress) India's leading pace bowler Jasprit Bumrah has been sidelined from the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy due to a lower back injury. The Men's Selection Committee has appointed allrounder Harshit Rana as Bumrah's replacement.
The Indian squad has also included spinner Varun Chakaravarthy, who will take the place of Yashasvi Jaiswal, initially part of the provisional roster, as announced by BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia in a statement on Tuesday.
