New Delhi, Feb 4 (NationPress) The Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) president Jagan Mohan Rao Arishnapally extended a warm welcome to the members of India’s U19 Women's T20 World Cup team at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport on Tuesday, also congratulating the Indian stars for their remarkable victory & exceptional performance during the tournament held in Malaysia.
The Indian women's team successfully defended their U19 Women’s T20 World Cup title with a commanding nine-wicket win over first-time finalists South Africa. They made history by becoming the first team to win the championship without suffering a loss.
Gongadi Trisha, awarded 'Player of the Tournament' at the recently concluded Under-19 Women's T20 World Cup in Kuala Lumpur, along with her teammate Drithi Kesari, received an enthusiastic reception upon arriving in Hyderabad on Tuesday morning. They were joined by head coach Nooshin Al Khadeer and trainer Shalini.
The HCA president honored the players and support staff with a shawl and a bouquet upon their arrival.

During the U19 World Cup, Trisha broke the record for the most runs in a single edition of the tournament. The all-rounder scored 309 runs in seven matches at an impressive average of 77.25, including one century. She also took seven wickets in as many matches, achieving a best of 3-6.
Trisha was named Player of the Match in the final, where she claimed 3-15 with her leg spin and scored 44 not out as India secured a nine-wicket victory to retain their U19 World Cup title.
