Sharjah, Feb 5 (NationPress) - The Sharjah Warriorz made history by clinching their first-ever playoff spot in Season 3 of ILT20. This achievement came after a streak of three consecutive wins in their final league matches, paving the way for an upcoming Eliminator match against the MI Emirates on Thursday in Abu Dhabi.

In reflecting on this significant milestone, Head Coach JP Duminy highlighted the crucial role of fostering a united team to establish the standards for his squad. He further shared insights regarding Tim Southee’s leadership and how the seasoned New Zealand bowler has positively influenced the team. “Working with Tim Southee as captain has been incredible. I believe in the necessity of a solid and sincere relationship between the captain and coach. Our effective communication during high-pressure moments has been a strength,” Duminy explained.
