At his Thane residence, Deputy CM Shinde celebrated Holi with his family using natural colours.

He encouraged everyone to celebrate Holi in an eco-friendly manner by opting for natural colours and steering clear of harmful chemicals.

In a media interaction, he underscored the importance of maintaining environmental balance and shared his aspirations for a thriving Maharashtra during the Holika Dahan ceremony held on Thursday evening.

Emphasizing the rich cultural traditions of Maharashtra's festivals, he conveyed his best wishes to the public and affirmed the state government's commitment to enhancing their lives.

He also extended an invitation to opposition leaders to join in the government's developmental efforts and be part of this progress.

Deputy CM Shinde personally greeted and applied colours to all visitors, including staff at his residence and security police officers.

Following tradition, he visited Anand Ashram at Tembhi Naka, paying homage to the late Shiv Sena leader Dharmaveer Anand Dighe by applying colours to his portrait.
