Mumbai, Jan 6 (NationPress) Following his successful debut in 'Maharaj', Aamir Khan's son Junaid Khan is set to star with Khushi Kapoor in the forthcoming contemporary romantic drama, 'Loveyapa'. The renowned Bollywood actor is ready to unveil the film's trailer on January 10.
The movie is scheduled to hit theaters on February 7. To build anticipation, the production team, in collaboration with Aamir, will release the trailer on January 10.
A source linked to the film stated, 'After the successful launch of Loveyapa's title track, the teaser is now prepared for its debut. Aamir Khan will present the teaser on January 10, 2025. Further details about the launch will be shared soon.'
Previously, the title track 'Loveyapa Hogaya' was released, featuring leads Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor. Described as 'A Love Anthem for the Youth', the song is vibrant with engaging beats and relatable lyrics.
Directed by Advait Chandan, 'Loveyapa' also features Radhika Sarathkumar, Sathyaraj, Yogi Babu, Eijaz Khan, Raveena Ravi, Adnan Siddiqui, and Swati Verma in supporting roles.
The narrative centers on a young couple whose relationship is tested after they swap mobile phones, revealing uncomfortable truths about each other. 'Loveyapa' is co-produced by Phantom Studios and AGS Entertainment.
This film marks Junaid Khan's theatrical debut, as his prior project 'Maharaj', alongside Jaideep Ahlawat, Shalini Pandey, and Sharvari, was exclusively released on Netflix. 'Maharaj' is inspired by the Maharaj Libel Case of 1862 and Saurabh Shah's novel.
Meanwhile, Khushi Kapoor made her entrance into Bollywood with Zoya Akhtar's 'The Archies'. The film, featuring Agastya Nanda and Suhana Khan, did not resonate well with audiences.
