Mumbai, Feb 21 (NationPress) - TVF has produced numerous blockbuster series including "Panchayat", "Kota Factory", "Gullak", "Aspirants", "Permanent Roommates", "TVF Pitchers", and "TVF Tripling". Acclaimed director Karan Johar has shown great appreciation for the writers at TVF.
In a recent episode of Komal Nahta's "Game Changers", when asked which writers he would endorse, Karan Johar stated, “The writers of The Viral Fever are exceptional. They possess a strong foundation, are commercially savvy, and incredibly entertaining. Their writing is superb.”
KJo also reflected on his collaboration with Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra, and Varun Dhawan in the 2012 film "Student of the Year". He discussed his relationship with the trio and his belief in their talent from the very start.
When queried about his initial expectations of the cast, he responded that he never viewed them as newcomers, but rather as stars from the outset.
KJo remarked, “I’m being honest, I won't say otherwise. I instructed my team that Sidharth and Varun, who were my assistants, and Alia, whom I met fresh from school, should be regarded as megastars from day one.”
He elaborated, “When I launched them, I advised everyone on set, including the choreographer and production team, to treat these three as if they were already stars.”
Karan Johar continued, “They wondered what that meant. I explained, ‘If you instill that confidence in them, they will perform like stars. Treat them like newcomers, and that’s the performance you’ll get.’ And they truly shone.”
Furthermore, he shared how Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra, and Varun Dhawan have become like family to him, noting, “They all refer to me as 'Karna'. They feel like friends to me. We engaged in a 12-day workshop to bond and understand each other better.”
