Los Angeles, Feb 23 (NationPress) Actress Olivia Munn has expressed feeling "envious" of individuals who are healthy following her diagnosis of breast cancer. She mentioned that she will spend her life "looking over her shoulder".

The 44-year-old star underwent multiple surgeries in 2023, including a full hysterectomy and double mastectomy, according to femalefirst.co.uk.

In an interview with Time magazine, Munn stated: "I've always heard people say that 'Health is wealth.' It was fascinating for the first time to feel envy towards those without health issues.

"Receiving a cancer diagnosis alters your perspective; you're constantly looking over your shoulder, regardless of your past achievements or financial status. When I see healthy individuals, I'm envious because it truly resonates with me. A cancer diagnosis changes your entire world and shifts your focus entirely.

Munn publicly shared her health struggles last year but initially wanted to keep them private, even from her closest friends and family, to avoid adding to their "fear and worry" along with her own.

However, she ultimately allowed her husband, John Mulaney, to inform his family about her situation.

As a mother to children Mei and Malcolm, Munn recently admitted feeling "guilt" for not being able to care for her kids during her battle with cancer.

During her appearance on the 'TODAY show, she shared: "I have experienced a lot of guilt from being ill for an extended time and being bedridden due to several surgeries. I anticipated that after the initial wave of surgeries, I would be back on my feet.

"But then came the first round of medication, which left me debilitated." Munn recounted feeling extremely "tired" and shared that she once "couldn’t hold" her baby boy, adding: "It was exhausting, and I feel a lot of guilt."
