Although she has been dealing with an injury, she ensured her presence at the event. In this film, she takes on the role of Maharani Yesubai.

Directed by Laxman Utekar, ‘Chhaava’ is inspired by the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the offspring of the legendary Indian warrior-king Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The movie features Rashmika Mandanna as Yeshubai Bhosle, the wife of Sambhaji Maharaj, alongside actors Akshaye Khanna, Ashutosh Rana, and Divya Dutta in supporting roles.

In September of last year, Rashmika disclosed that she had experienced a minor accident. She also shared on social media about indulging in a lot of laddoos during her recovery.

In a heartfelt message, she noted, “Hey guys, how’ve you been? I know it’s been a while since I appeared here or was even seen publicly. The reason for my absence over the past month is due to a little accident, (a minor one) and I was recovering at home as instructed by my doctors.”

She added, “I’m feeling better now and just as a heads up - I’m entering a phase of being super active, so good luck managing my activities. Always prioritize taking care of yourself because life is incredibly fragile and fleeting; we never know if there will be a tomorrow, so choose happiness every day. PS: Another update, I’ve been enjoying a lot of laddoos.”

Meanwhile, Rashmika has several projects lined up, including ‘Kubera’, ‘Sikandar’, ‘Rainbow’, ‘Thama’, ‘Animal Park’, ‘Pushpa 3’, and ‘The Girlfriend’.
