Mumbai, Feb 1 (NationPress) Bollywood actress and passionate advocate for animals Raveena Tandon has raised her voice for her beloved canine companions. She stated that for every devotee of Shiva who chooses to shoo dogs away from temples and public places by labeling them as unclean, she wants to remind them that they are pushing away those who were meant to safeguard them.
Raveena took to Instagram to share a series of photos and videos from her visit to Pashupatinath Temple alongside her daughter Rasha. Additionally, she posted several videos showcasing her efforts in rescuing an abandoned dog.
In her caption, she elaborated: “Pashupati, who is also an incarnation of Shiva, is known as the ‘lord of the animals’. The earliest evidence attributed to Pashupati can be traced back to the Indus Valley civilization (2500 BCE - 1750 BCE), where the Pashupati seal is believed to depict a proto-Shiva figure.”
