Mumbai, Jan 16 (NationPress) Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan sustained injuries from a stabbing incident during a burglary at his residence. According to a doctor from Lilavati Hospital, he suffered six stab wounds, with two being deep.
Dr. Niraj Uttamani, COO of Lilavati Hospital, reported that Saif was attacked by an unknown individual at his home in Bandra and was admitted at 3:30 AM.
Uttamani further elaborated that Saif's injuries include a stab close to his spine. A surgical team led by Neurosurgeon Dr. Nitin Dange, cosmetic surgeon Dr. Leena Jain, and anaesthesiologist Dr. Nisha Gandhi is currently conducting the operation.
Saif’s representatives issued a statement confirming the attempted burglary and stating that he is undergoing surgery.
