Mumbai, April 24 (NationPress) Actor Vardhaan Puri, the grandson of the legendary Amrish Puri, views acting as a profoundly personal journey that enables him to evolve with each character he embodies.

Having made his mark with his debut in the 2019 film “Yeh Saali Aashiqui,” Vardhaan stated: “Every character allows me to better comprehend my own emotions.”

He elaborated on how immersing himself in diverse roles lets him uncover concealed facets of his personality.

“For me, acting resembles therapy. When I assume a character, I don’t merely act - I experience it. Whether it’s love, pain, anger, or joy, I genuinely feel it all. This journey aids me in processing my own emotions and fortifies me.”

He believes that cinema possesses the ability to heal, benefiting not only actors but also audiences.

“I aspire to convey stories that resonate with people, making them feel acknowledged and understood,” he added. To him, cinema is a medium to transform emotions into art, one character at a time.

Vardhaan has participated in significant projects such as Yeh Saali Aashiqui, Bloody Ishq, Bobby aur Rishi Ki Love Story, among others.

Discussing ‘Bobby Aur Rishi Ki Love Story’, a timeless narrative of unrestrained passion, budding romance, and emotional moments, it also features filmmaker Shekhar Kapur’s daughter, Kaveri.

The film is set in Cambridge, chronicling the enchanting journey of Bobby (played by Kaveri Kapur) and Rishi (played by Vardhaan Puri), interwoven with unanswered questions, complex dilemmas, and contrasting ideologies, yet united by fate and love.

Directed by Kunal Kohli, recognized for ‘Mujhse Dosti Karoge’, ‘Hum Tum’, and ‘Hiccups and Hookups’, the project is produced by Jyoti Deshpande under Jio Studios and Mohaan Nadaar from The Production HeadQuarters. ‘Bobby Aur Rishi Ki Love Story’ was released digitally on February 11.
