London, April 14 (NationPress) English actor Ben Whishaw has returned to voice the beloved bear who adores marmalade in Paddington in Peru. He mentioned that there was a challenge not to follow the same pattern, and he found the third film to be incredibly thrilling, humorous, and truly touching.

Reflecting on his comeback, he stated, "Following the triumph of the initial two films, it’s natural to feel a bit anxious about what the next chapter would entail. There’s also the pressure of avoiding redundancy in the story."

He continued: "However, I found the idea to be fantastic—this installment is significantly more of an adventure than its predecessors. Paddington encounters genuine danger and challenges. I found it to be very thrilling, quite humorous, and genuinely heartfelt. I was excited to be involved in it."

The first Paddington film premiered in 2014. This live-action animated comedy was inspired by a narrative penned by King and Hamish McColl, based on the tales of the character Paddington Bear, created by Michael Bond.

The sequel hit theaters in 2017, featuring Hugh Bonneville, Sally Hawkins, Julie Walters, Jim Broadbent, Peter Capaldi, and Nicole Kidman in live-action roles.

Whishaw mentioned that a significant change in this film is that previously, Paddington always resided in Windsor Gardens, at the Browns' home, which was his sanctuary.

"This time, the Browns embark on an adventure into the wilderness, the jungle, and the unknown. Each character faces challenges and learns something about themselves and their role within the family. It’s profoundly touching to witness how this journey strengthens their bonds."

On the universal theme central to the franchise, Whishaw remarked, "Paddington consistently spreads happiness. He embodies optimism and unyielding kindness. No matter how often he faces setbacks, he always manages to rebound. The films encapsulate a powerful spirit—one of embracing differences, showing kindness, and fostering respect. That’s immensely significant."

Sony Pictures Entertainment India is scheduled to release the film in Indian cinemas on April 18, available in both English and Hindi.
