Prakriti Parikshan is an innovative health awareness initiative launched by the Ministry of Ayush.

The campaign has achieved significant milestones, with a total of 10,737 volunteers actively promoting its outreach across the nation.

The initiative aims to empower individuals to comprehend their unique Ayurvedic Prakriti (mind-body constitution). So far, it has engaged 6,828 participants who have completed their Prakriti Parikshan assessment. Additionally, 11,608 citizens have committed to adopting Ayurvedic principles for enhanced health, signifying a hopeful start to this nationwide movement, according to the Ministry.

“The feedback we have received thus far is indicative of the growing awareness and acceptance of Ayurveda in our everyday lives,” Jadhav remarked.

“Every individual who participates in the Prakriti Parikshan and embraces a tailored health approach contributes to nurturing a healthier India. This is merely the inception, and together we will revolutionize the nation’s health for generations to come,” he added.

Moreover, the MoS visited the Ayush Pavilion at the 43rd India International Trade Fair today.

He underscored the necessity of merging traditional wisdom with modern advancements to attain holistic wellness and sustainable healthcare.

During his tour, Jadhav interacted with exhibitors and participants, commending their efforts in promoting Ayush systems of medicine and lifestyle solutions.

Among the main attractions at the pavilion are the ‘Ayush Visa’ exhibits, a groundbreaking initiative aimed at drawing global stakeholders to India’s flourishing health and wellness sector.

The pavilion also showcases ‘Ayush Aahar’, an initiative highlighting innovative dietary practices grounded in traditional wisdom.

Live demonstrations, expert consultations, and recipe exhibitions emphasize the effectiveness of Ayush-based nutrition in achieving a healthy lifestyle.

Jadhav praised the Pavilion’s initiatives in showcasing innovative approaches towards health and wellness.
