New Delhi, Feb 21 (NationPress) Union Minister and BJP President J.P. Nadda stated that Prime Minister Modi's guarantee signifies that every promise will be fulfilled as he expressed gratitude to the Delhi government for its choice to enact the 'Ayushman Bharat Yojana' during the inaugural Cabinet assembly.

In a message on X, BJP President Nadda remarked, 'Modi's guarantee signifies that every promise will be fulfilled'. I expressed my gratitude to the Delhi government for opting to implement the 'Ayushman Bharat Yojana' during the inaugural Cabinet assembly.

During this first Cabinet gathering, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta announced that her administration would put into effect the Centre's flagship initiative in the national capital.

The rollout of the Ayushman Bharat Yojana was a pre-election pledge made by the BJP, which had criticized the AAP administration for not executing the initiative.

BJP President Nadda accused the former Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government of denying the residents of Delhi access to the 'Ayushman Bharat Yojana' for a decade due to its self-serving politics.

'The AAP government, through its self-serving politics, maliciously denied the people of Delhi this public welfare initiative for 10 years, leading to numerous residents of Delhi being deprived of proper medical care in challenging times. The Bharatiya Janata Party had committed to implementing this initiative in the 'Sankalp Patra' for a 'Developed Delhi'. This decision from the first Cabinet is evidence that under the guidance of Prime Minister @narendramodi, the BJP government of Delhi is dedicated to realizing its development objectives,' Nadda stated in his post on X.

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta also revealed the presentation of CAG reports, which had not been presented by the AAP government.

'In the first Cabinet meeting, we reviewed and approved two agendas -- implementing the Ayushman Bharat scheme in Delhi with a Rs 5 lakh top-up and presenting 14 CAG reports during the initial Assembly session. We will honor all our commitments to the public,' she affirmed.

She further mentioned that the Delhi government would finance the top-up and would establish a MoU with the Centre.

When questioned about AAP leader and former Delhi Chief Minister Atishi highlighting that the BJP had pledged to pass the scheme to provide Rs 2,500 to women each month in the first Cabinet meeting, Rekha Gupta asserted that the BJP government would determine its agenda.

'This is our administration; the agenda will be ours. Allow us to work. She doesn't need to instruct us on everything; she has accomplished what she needed to while in office,' she declared.
