Jaipur, March 4 (NationPress) Nine trainee sub-inspectors (SIs), including three women, have been terminated from their positions in Jodhpur due to their participation in the SI Recruitment Exam-2021 paper leak controversy.

The Special Operations Group (SOG) initiated a case against them for employing dummy candidates to pass the exam.

They were apprehended on March 3, 2024, and subsequently released on bail. The integrity of the SI Recruitment Exam-2021 was compromised because of a leaked question paper, and investigations uncovered that numerous candidates utilized proxies to take the exam in their stead.

The SOG arrested nearly 50 trainee SIs, with 25 receiving bail from the High Court. Similar measures were enacted in Bikaner and Kota, where an additional five trainee SIs, including two women, faced dismissal.

Of these, three had employed dummy candidates, while two had succeeded in the exam through dishonest means. Dismissal orders for these individuals were also issued on Tuesday evening. This crackdown emphasizes the state government's dedication to upholding transparency and integrity in recruitment practices. Authorities are anticipated to pursue ongoing investigations, with potential further actions to follow, officials stated.

On Tuesday, Jodhpur Range IG Vikas Kumar issued termination orders for the following individuals: Gopi Ram Jangu Bishnoi (Sihagon Ki Beri, Barmer), Chanchal Bishnoi (Fitkasni, Jodhpur), Ajay Bishnoi (Bhavad, Jodhpur), Dinesh Kumar Bishnoi (Kabuli, Barmer), Naresh Kumar Bishnoi (Malwad, Jalore), Priyanka Bishnoi (Devda, Jalore), Harku Jat (Kerwada, Barmer), Surendra Kumar Bishnoi (Danta Sarnau, Jalore), and Dinesh Kumar Bishnoi (son of Bhagirath) (Devda, Jalore).

Previously, in Bikaner and Kota, IG dismissed five, including two female trainee sub-inspectors (SIs). In the SI Recruitment 2021, three of these candidates had dummy candidates sit in their place, while two had passed the exam by cheating.

The dismissed SIs were associated with the Bikaner and Kota range. Their dismissal orders were issued in February this month.

Bikaner IG Om Prakash Paswan announced, 'Shravan Kumar Godara and Manju Bishnoi have been dismissed. Both have been removed from service under CCA 19 (2) as per service rules.'

In the year 2024, the Special Operations Group (SOG) had registered a case. Both individuals were arrested in this case and are currently detained in Jaipur jail. Shravan Kumar Godara had been assigned to Hanumangarh and Manju Bishnoi in Bikaner.

Furthermore, Kota IG dismissed Chetan Singh Meena, Renu Kumari, and Malaram Vishnoi. A total of seven trainee sub-inspectors have been dismissed from the Kota IG office thus far. Chetan Singh Meena is presently in jail, having passed the exam via a dummy candidate.

Renu Kumari and Malaram Bishnoi are out on bail. Both are accused of fraudulently passing the exam.
