Patna, Jan 11 (NationPress) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will arrive in Darbhanga on January 11 (Saturday) as part of his Pragati Yatra, where he plans to review development initiatives and launch projects worth hundreds of crores.

Patna, Jan 11 (NationPress) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will be visiting Darbhanga today, January 11 (Saturday), as part of his Pragati Yatra. During this visit, he is set to evaluate development schemes and unveil several initiatives valued at hundreds of crores.

His itinerary is packed with a variety of inaugurations, inspections, and meetings aimed at assessing the progress of numerous government programs.

Nitish Kumar is scheduled to arrive at the helipad in Bharathi, located in the Singhwada block of Darbhanga, via a special helicopter at 10:40 a.m.

Upon arrival, he will inaugurate a significant shelter facility at Bharathi.

At 11 a.m., he will head to Chandsar Pokhar in Simri Panchayat to engage with members of the fishermen's cooperation committee.

He will also review and inspect schemes under Saat Nischay at the Panchayat Government Building.

The Chief Minister will inaugurate the new buildings of both Madhya Vidyalaya Simri and Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV).

Furthermore, he will inspect the Poshan Vatika (Nutrition Garden) and inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for various projects at Simri High School.

Additionally, he will inaugurate a playground constructed under MNREGA, followed by discussions with Jeevika Didi, Tola Sevak, and Vikas Mitra.

The Chief Minister will also visit the Darbhanga bus station to evaluate proposals for its transformation into an international and interstate bus hub.

Moreover, he will announce plans for the beautification of the pond in Harahi village.

At 12:30 p.m., he will visit Donar Chowk to assess solutions for traffic congestion at Donar Gumti and Karpuri Chowk.

Nitish Kumar will also inaugurate the new building for the SSP Office followed by a district-level review meeting with officials to gauge development progress.

He is expected to return to Patna at 3 p.m.

Political analysts believe that this scheduled visit highlights CM Nitish Kumar's dedication to promoting development and tackling local challenges through direct interaction with the community and authorities.

Currently, Nitish Kumar is in the second phase of the Pragati Yatra in Bihar, having visited districts such as Gopalganj, Muzaffarpur, Vaishali, Siwan, and Saran thus far.
