New Delhi, Feb 5 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit the Prayagraj Maha Kumbh today, where he will partake in a sacred dip at the Sangam, the meeting point of the three sacred rivers: Ganga, Yamuna, and the legendary Saraswati.

On this auspicious day of Ashtami Tithi during the 'Magh' month, PM Modi will immerse himself in the Triveni Sangam during the Puny Kaal, followed by worshipping the Ganga along its banks and offering prayers.

The Prime Minister is anticipated to arrive in Prayagraj at approximately 10:05 A.M. and will make a swift journey to the DPS Helipad.

From the DPS Helipad, PM Modi will head to Arail Ghat at 10:45 A.M., where he will then take a boat to the Maha Kumbh site.

His visit is expected to be brief, lasting around an hour, during which he will conduct the ritual bathing and offer prayers.

He is projected to return to Arail Ghat by boat at 11:45 AM and then proceed to Prayagraj Airport. PM Modi's departure is scheduled for 12:30 PM via an Indian Air Force aircraft.

Previously, during his visit to Prayagraj on December 13, the Prime Minister inaugurated 167 development projects valued at Rs 5,500 crore, enhancing connectivity, amenities, and services for the populace.
