Jaipur, April 24 (NationPress) Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLP) MP Hanuman Beniwal stated on Thursday that Indians desire the Tricolour to wave in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) in the wake of the Pahalgam terror attack, emphasizing that the time has come for India to reclaim the area.
“If we could eliminate terrorism in Punjab, we can certainly do the same in Jammu and Kashmir as well. However, mere rhetoric from Prime Minister Narendra Modi is inadequate. It is crucial to take back PoK to effectively eradicate terrorism from this region. I am not alone; millions of Indians yearn for the Tricolour to fly in PoK,” remarked Beniwal.
He drew comparisons to the Kargil infiltration, indicating that the loss of over 26 innocent lives signifies a grave breach in national security.
“The government of this nation has utterly failed. Similar to Kargil, there was significant infiltration, leading to the loss of innocent lives. We successfully reclaimed Kargil after the sacrifice of thousands of our soldiers. This same carelessness is now evident in Pahalgam, a key tourist destination,” he stated.
Beniwal also criticized the Rajasthan government for not canceling the contentious Sub-Inspector recruitment exam.
He declared an indefinite protest starting April 26 at Shaheed Smarak, Jaipur, demanding justice regarding various recruitment-related scandals.
Beniwal questioned the Union government’s Agnipath scheme, asking why anyone would put their life on the line for merely four years under the Agniveer program.
He criticized the previous Congress government for failing to annul the REET Level-1 exam after a paper leak incident.
“Only the Level-2 exam was canceled, despite major irregularities in Level-1 as well. Previously, BJP leaders insisted on canceling REET Level-1, Sub-Inspector, and PTI exams. Now that the BJP holds power, they have conveniently overlooked their commitments,” he expressed.
He mentioned that people in Delhi ridicule Rajasthan, referring to it as a center for fake degrees and gang wars.
Beniwal claimed that the Rajasthan government is being governed from five distinct power centers. “Even the Chief Minister seems unaware of his own schedule,” he alleged.
The MP remarked that former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje is dissatisfied with the current operations of the state BJP.
“Beginning April 26, I will initiate an indefinite protest at Shaheed Smarak, Jaipur, with the youth. If necessary, I will organize a rally with over one lakh participants. I will advocate for the youth until my last breath,” he asserted.
He accused that while numerous individuals have been apprehended in the Sub-Inspector recruitment scam, the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) Chairman, Sanjay Shrotriya, has not even been questioned.
“Shrotriya, once associated with Ashok Gehlot and Vasundhara Raje, is now allied with Bhajanlal Sharma. All sensitive RPSC documents remain in his possession,” Beniwal alleged.
Demanding a comprehensive revamp of the RPSC, Beniwal stated that the government possesses authority both in Rajasthan and at the Centre, asserting that if they possess the resolve, the Commission could be dissolved in a day, yet nepotism prevails, with many members being relatives of influential leaders.
“This is the first instance in Rajasthan’s history where a Chief Minister has received five threats in a brief period. If the Chief Minister is not secure, how can the average citizen feel safe?” he queried.
Beniwal also leveled serious accusations against both the Congress and the BJP, asserting that Congress leaders evaded arrest by negotiating discreetly with BJP leaders.
“Congress leaders feared arrest. Hence, they assured BJP leaders that they would assist in winning the by-elections on the condition that no action be taken against them,” Beniwal concluded.
