Prayagraj, Jan 22 (NationPress) The Uttar Pradesh government is set to convene a special Cabinet meeting under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Prayagraj on Wednesday, where it is anticipated to greenlight various crucial proposals and initiatives for the state.
An official announcement revealed that all 54 Ministers of the Uttar Pradesh Cabinet have been summoned to this important meeting.
The Cabinet meeting is scheduled to take place at the Triveni Sankul in Arail, commencing at noon on Wednesday.
The venue was altered to prevent disruption for the pilgrims visiting the Sangam.
Initially, the meeting was set to occur at the Mela Authority Auditorium, but concerns regarding VIP security potentially hindering pilgrims' access prompted the relocation.
Post-meeting, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and the entire Cabinet will partake in a holy dip in the sacred waters of the Triveni Sangam.
The Ministers will journey from the Arail VIP Ghat to the Sangam via motorboats.
At the Sangam, CM Yogi Adityanath and the Cabinet members will perform worship rituals and take the holy dip.
This marks the second occasion that CM Yogi Adityanath will guide his Cabinet to the Sangam.
In 2019, during the Kumbh Mela, he participated in a ceremonial dip alongside his Ministers, Akhada Parishad President Narendra Giri, and other saints.
Reports indicate that CM Yogi Adityanath, Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak, along with Cabinet Ministers Suresh Kumar Khanna, Surya Pratap Shahi, Swatantra Dev Singh, Baby Rani Maurya, Jaiveer Singh, Laxmi Narayan Chaudhary, Dharampal, Nand Gopal Nandi, Anil Rajbhar, and all 54 ministers, including those with independent charge and state Ministers, will take the holy dip in the Sangam after the Cabinet meeting.
Additionally, the Hindi version of the Indo-Japanese animated film 'Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Ram' will premiere at the Mahakumbh on Wednesday.
The special screening of the animated film is set for 10 a.m. at the Divya Prem Seva Camp, Sector-6, near Netra Kumbh.
This screening is among the innovative features introduced by CM Yogi Adityanath for this year’s grand Mahakumbh. For the first time in the festival’s history, an animated film will be screened during the event.
