New Delhi, Jan 30 (NationPress) Olympic bronze medallist boxer Vijender Singh expressed his support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Fit-India Initiative' on Thursday, describing it as a commendable effort to advocate for a balanced diet and overall fitness.
"This campaign has the potential to positively impact many individuals. For those dealing with diabetes or obesity, it's essential to adjust your dietary habits and prioritize exercise," stated Vijender, who clinched a bronze medal in the middleweight division at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing and another bronze at the 2009 World Championships in Milan, Italy.
Born in Bhiwani, Haryana, Vijender emphasized that the Fit India Initiative encourages minor adjustments in daily routines that can significantly enhance our health.
