Mumbai, Jan 9 (NationPress) The versatile Bollywood star Farhan Akhtar is marking his birthday in the company of his cousin Farah Khan and sister-in-law Anusha Dandekar.
On Thursday, Farhan shared a delightful picture on his Instagram featuring Farah and Anusha, both of whom share the same birthday.
The snapshot captures a beautiful moment as they stand together in front of birthday cakes.
The actor-director expressed his affection in the caption, saying, “Capri 9’on ki barsaat.. happy birthday to my sister and sister-in-law .. love you both @farahkhankunder @anushadandekar”.
Earlier, Farhan praised Indian cricketer Rohit Sharma for his unselfish approach, prioritizing the team's success over his personal quest to regain form. He accompanied a lower-resolution image of Sharma in action with a heartfelt note.
In his message, he stated, “Just have to get this off my chest. This guy has done so much for Indian cricket and captained our team incredibly well and successfully over the years. His skill with the bat speaks for itself, and there have been innumerable innings in which he’s shown us the elite level he performs at”.
Farhan reflected on how the sport has seen some of the greatest batsmen and bowlers struggle for form, and fans often secretly wish they would take a break to regain their form before making a comeback.
He further added, “Yes, this sport can be cruel, and you’d be hard-pressed to think of someone, especially a captain, who did that voluntarily. Now here’s a guy who’s putting his team's chances of a win ahead of himself finding form, and instead of being applauded for his selflessness, the majority is tearing him down. Ask yourself, ‘Why would anyone do this again if this is how the world responds to a man thinking of the larger cause than his own glory?’ @rohitsharma45 You’re a superstar”.
