Mumbai, Feb 22 (NationPress) Actress Kangana Ranaut, who was recently featured in the political film ‘Emergency’, made a visit to writer-director AL Vijay at his newly acquired residence.

On Saturday, the actress shared images from her visit on her Instagram Stories, showcasing the lavish meal she enjoyed while being hosted by the writer-director.

She captioned the images, “Most wonderful director and the most amazing person AL Vijay sir thank you for hosting us congratulations for the new house”.

Kangana further expressed, “No words can describe the affection and the respect that I receive from Vijay sir and his whole family. May God bless you all with more and more success #alvijay”.

The actress donned traditional Indian attire in the photographs.

Previously, it was announced that Kangana has commenced work on her upcoming film. A few days ago, she posted a behind-the-scenes image from the sets of her untitled project.

This image featured a clapperboard with details of the shooting schedule. The film also stars R. Madhavan, marking their reunion after nearly ten years since their last collaboration in ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’.

Kangana commented on the image, “Nothing is more delightful than being on a film set”.

In the meantime, her film ‘Emergency’, which was her second directorial venture after ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’, did not perform well at the box office. In ‘Emergency’, she portrayed the former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Previously, she stated that the film is not merely a political narrative but rather touches upon the life of Indira Gandhi.

She elaborated, “This is not a political film. It's a story. It has nothing to do with politics. You may find it very bizarre right now. Eventually, it is not about any party. You will come out feeling that, you just saw the film, you won’t come out feeling who you will vote for. You were only enlightened about that episode”.
