Mumbai, Feb 22 (NationPress) Actress Kaveri Kapur, who recently made her debut with ‘Bobby Aur Rishi Ki Love Story’, expressed her admiration for director Kunal Kohli.

In an interview with IANS, she revealed that Kunal employs a highly organized method in his filmmaking.

She stated, “This marks my first experience as an actress. Given that I was collaborating with Kunal and preparing to step onto my inaugural movie set—something I never envisioned for myself—I required a significant amount of preparation. Fortunately, Kunal guided us through this process in a very structured way. Each day, he would instruct, ‘Alright Kaveri, today I need you to focus on these scenes, we need to do a reading, and please send it to me by tonight.’”

She added, “Every day we followed a systematic schedule regarding which scenes to learn, which ones to read, record, and submit. With no prior experience in acting or its preparation, I was fortunate to have such a great mentor. As a result, the preparation was remarkably smooth. The rawness Kunal sought in his actors was balanced by our lack of experience, and he was adept at managing both.”

Previously, Kunal, recognized for films like ‘Hum Tum’, ‘Fanaa’, and ‘Mujhse Dosti Karoge’, shared his thoughts on the evolving technology in the filmmaking industry.

He remarked that artists should welcome technology instead of shying away from it.

“Technology has been beneficial in every aspect, allowing you to review edits on set. This is a somewhat outdated notion. Nowadays, you can preview your visual effects on set, which provides immediate insights into what the final product will resemble,” he elaborated.

“I firmly believe that we must embrace technology to enhance our films and ease our work, rather than avoiding it. Technology is the most advantageous development in filmmaking,” he concluded.
