Maha Kumbh Nagar, Feb 22 (NationPress) - The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, made another visit to the Maha Kumbh on Saturday, joined by Union Minister and BJP National President J. P. Nadda. The two leaders participated in a sacred dip at the revered Sangam.
Prior to this, CM Adityanath extended a warm welcome to Minister Nadda upon his arrival at Maha Kumbh Nagar. Images and videos capturing the moment of their dip circulated widely on social media. Present at the event were UP Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak, Minister Swatantra Dev Singh, and other distinguished guests.

As per the administration of the Maha Kumbh Mela, the count of devotees who have participated in the sacred dip at Prayagraj has surpassed 600 million. By noon on Saturday, over 71.18 lakh devotees had already taken their bath in the holy Triveni. The final dip of the Maha Kumbh is scheduled for Maha Shivaratri on February 26.
Examining the total number of devotees who have bathed thus far, the peak participation occurred during Mauni Amavasya, where nearly 80 million took a dip. On Makar Sankranti, 35 million participated in the Amrit Snan. Additional notable numbers include over 20 million on February 1 and January 30, and 17 million on Paush Purnima. Furthermore, 25.7 million devotees bathed on Basant Panchami, with more than 20 million on Maghi Purnima.
According to Prayagraj's District Magistrate Ravindra Mandad, all officials and staff are actively overseeing preparations to ensure devotees' comfort.
