Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Feb 22 (NationPress) Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar expressed his dismay on Saturday regarding the mockery of crucial national institutions, urging citizens to unveil the nefarious plans that aim to destabilize India and manipulate its democratic processes.
“We face another systemic issue. The President is mocked. The Prime Minister is mocked. My position is mocked. Our institutions, including the Election Commission and the judiciary, are being undermined. Such actions stem from individuals lacking national interest. Recently, it was reported—our elections were attempted to be tampered with and manipulated,” stated the Vice President while addressing students and faculty at the 65th Annual Convocation Ceremony of Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra.
He urged the populace to stay vigilant, reflect, and expose such actions, asserting that a comprehensive, micro-level investigation is now essential.
“Unveil all those who are orchestrating these malicious schemes to destabilize our nation and distort our democracy,” he implored.
Additionally, he mentioned that anti-national elements attack democratic principles, aiming to tarnish the essence of the Constitution and discredit national institutions.
“When they assault our foundational values, they must be confronted. This is the responsibility of every citizen,” the Vice President emphasized.
He asserted that every individual possesses the right to embrace any religion of their preference.
“However, when conversion occurs through allurements, temptations, with the goal of achieving dominance by altering the nation’s demographics, it raises serious concerns. History bears witness; certain countries exemplify this. You are more perceptive and knowledgeable than I, and you can discern for yourselves—entire nations have been transformed, and the majority community has vanished. We must not permit this demographic invasion. Natural demographic growth is acceptable, but disruptive changes aimed at control require our vigilance. This demands serious contemplation,” he remarked.
The Vice President further noted that social transformation is achieved through social harmony, which embodies unity in diversity.
“It converts caste, creed, and religion—the divisive elements—into a unifying force. Let us foster social harmony at all costs. We are a unique civilization—spiritual, religious, and ethical. Our cultural strength has guided the world for millennia. Embrace and nurture family values; honor your elders and parents. This will equip you to contribute to the nation. A seed of patriotism will naturally bloom,” the Vice President observed.
The Vice President asserted that climate change poses a significant threat. “The planet is hanging by a thread due to an existential crisis. We are custodians but have carelessly exploited it. The countdown has begun. We must take action. The Prime Minister’s initiative—‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’—is transformative. Millions are participating. Let us commit to environmental protection,” he stated.
Promoting the idea of Swadeshi, the Vice President remarked, “A nation is only strong if it is Aatmanirbhar. Let’s support Swadeshi and advocate for local products.”
Earlier, upon arriving in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, the Vice President visited the stunning Ellora Caves, a magnificent representation of India’s rich cultural and spiritual heritage.
He also performed a pooja at the sacred Grishneshwar Temple in Ellora, one of the 12 esteemed Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, praying for the nation’s progress and the well-being of all its citizens.
