New Delhi, Jan 12 (NationPress) Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science and Technology Jitendra Singh emphasized the need for youth to turn ideas into reality for a developed India on Sunday.

New Delhi, Jan 12 (NationPress) The youth are urged to transform ideas into reality for a Viksit Bharat, stated Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science and Technology Jitendra Singh on Sunday.

He made these remarks during a dinner for approximately 100 students from Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, which took place alongside the ongoing National Youth Festival 2025, organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.

“Events like the National Youth Festival 2025 offer an exceptional national platform for young individuals to channel their creativity, aspirations, and energy into meaningful contributions towards a developed India,” Singh remarked.

Highlighting the significance of youth-led initiatives in steering India’s development, the MoS encouraged the youth in the regions to tap into local resources for livelihood and startup opportunities.

“The participation of young people from these areas signifies their willingness to play a role in India’s growth narrative. Your innovative ideas and proactive measures can instigate transformative changes not just for your communities, but for the nation as a whole,” Singh stated.

He also pointed out various initiatives launched by the Ministry of Science and Technology aimed at promoting innovation and entrepreneurship among the youth.

Singh underscored how these programs have stimulated the growth of startups, notably in Jammu & Kashmir, where young entrepreneurs are entering sectors like lavender cultivation through the Aroma Mission.

The MoS called on the youth to look into prospects in fields such as biotechnology, agritech, and renewable energy, assuring students that the Ministry of Science and Technology would extend full support.

“Concentrate on leveraging innovation and technology to tackle urgent challenges and seize your participation in the festival as a chance to engage with diverse viewpoints from across the nation,” the Minister advised.

The National Youth Festival 2025, taking place in New Delhi from January 10-12, celebrates the vigor and potential of India’s youth. It serves as a dynamic platform for young leaders to express their ideas, collaborate on solutions for national advancement, and align with India’s collective goals for progress.
