Recently, Geek Pictures, the studio responsible for the Indian language adaptations of the film, organized special screenings at Phoenix, Lower Parel, Mumbai for 1,600 BMC school students on February 5th and 6th.
This initiative aims to introduce young learners to Valmiki's epic narrative of the Ramayana. The screening on February 5th was attended by Mrs. Amruta Fadnavis, spouse of Maharashtra's Chief Minister, Devendra Fadnavis. Furthermore, Arjun Aggarwal, the founder of Geek Pictures India, was present to engage with the students.

This film represents a unique Indo-Japanese collaboration, featuring over 450 artists and utilizing nearly 100,000 hand-drawn cells.
The movie had its theatrical debut in India in 4K on January 24, 2025. Following this, it is scheduled for screening at the esteemed Indian Parliament on February 15, 2025.
