Maharashtra CM Fadnavis Engages with Anna Hazare, Receives Invitation to Ralegan Siddhi
In Ahilya Nagar (Maharashtra), Dec 22 (NationPress), Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis made his inaugural visit to the region post-assumption of office, where he met renowned social activist Anna Hazare on Sunday.

Ahilya Nagar (Maharashtra), Dec 22 (NationPress) Following his inauguration as Chief Minister, Devendra Fadnavis made his first visit to Maharashtra's Ahilya Nagar on Sunday, where he had an audience with social activist Anna Hazare.

During their meeting, Hazare extended his congratulations to Fadnavis and cordially invited him to visit Ralegan Siddhi.

In a post shared on X, CM Fadnavis stated, "Today, I had the honor of meeting esteemed social worker, Padma Bhushan Anna Hazare ji in Ahilyanagar, during which I received his blessings and expressed my gratitude for his good wishes. Minister Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil was present during this significant occasion."

The Maharashtra Chief Minister's Office shared images of the meeting on its X account, noting that Hazare congratulated Fadnavis and invited him to Ralegan Siddhi. The Chief Minister reciprocated the gesture with greetings and appreciation for Hazare's wishes.

Upon his arrival, Devendra Fadnavis landed at the helipad of Padma Shri Dr. Vitthalrao Vikhe Patil Foundation Medical College, accompanied by Legislative Council Chairman Prof. Ram Shinde. Water Resources Minister Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil welcomed him warmly.

Notable attendees included MLAs Sangram Jagtap, Shivajirao Kardile, Kashinath Date, former minister Babanrao Pachpute, Divisional Commissioner Dr. Praveen Gedam, District Collector Siddharam Salimath, Special Inspector General of Police, Nashik area Dattatray Karale, Superintendent of Police Rakesh Ola, Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad Ashish Yerekar, Municipal Commissioner Yashwant Dange, among others.

Earlier, the Chief Minister arrived at Shirdi Airport and was greeted by Sub-Divisional Officer Manik Aher.

On the previous day, the Maharashtra government finalized the allocation of departments to ministers, receiving approval from Governor CP Radhakrishnan based on Fadnavis’ recommendations.

Fadnavis has retained the Home, Energy, and Law departments, while Ajit Pawar has been assigned the Finance Department. Meanwhile, Eknath Shinde will oversee the Urban Development and Public Works Department.

It's noteworthy that 39 ministers of Mahayuti took their oaths on December 15, comprising 19 from the BJP, 11 from the Shiv Sena Shinde faction, and nine from the NCP Ajit Pawar faction.
