Both Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah scored a brace, while goals from Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai completed the dominating performance for the Reds.
The league leaders seized early control of the match, racing to a 2-0 lead by the 36th minute with goals from Luis Diaz and Alexis Mac Allister. James Maddison pulled one back for Spurs in the 41st minute, only for Dominik Szoboszlai to extend Liverpool's lead to 3-1 before halftime.

He also surpassed Billy Liddell to claim the fourth spot on Liverpool’s all-time goalscorers list.
The Egyptian reflected on this significant achievement at the club, stating, "It’s great to achieve that at such a big club, but the most important thing is that we won the game. Wherever I am going to end my career I am happy about it," in an interview with Sky Sports.
With Chelsea dropping points in a 0-0 draw against Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday, Liverpool now holds a four-point lead with a game in hand, accumulating 39 points after 16 matches played.
