Srinagar, March 14 (NationPress) Prominent National Conference (NC) figure and Member of Parliament, Mian Altaf, paid a visit on Friday to the home of Reyaz Ahmed Bejad in the Qazigund region of Jammu and Kashmir's Kulgam district to express his condolences to the grieving family.
Reyaz Ahmed Bejad, one of three tribal individuals who vanished under unclear circumstances nearly a month ago in the Qazigund area, was discovered deceased on Thursday, with his body recovered from a stream in the Mah region of Kulgam.
The deceased, Riyaz Ahmad Bajad, aged 25, hailing from Chandian Pajan, Devsar in Kulgam, along with two other youths – Showket Ahmed Bajard and Mukhtar Ahmed Awan – had been missing since February 13.
The trio had departed their homes to attend a wedding event in a nearby village.
Mian Altaf expressed his heartfelt condolences to the grieving family members.
He conveyed his solidarity with the family during this difficult time and prayed for eternal peace for the departed individual.
Additionally, he prayed for the strength and patience of the family of the deceased trio to cope with the pain of this profound loss.

On March 6, three civilians also went missing in Kathua district, with their bodies recovered on March 8 in the higher areas of Kathua.

They were part of a wedding procession traveling from Billawar's Dehota village to Surag village in Malhar on the evening of March 6.
While nearing Inchhu forests around 8:30 p.m., they reportedly became separated from the other members of the wedding party and lost their way in the darkness.
Upon reaching Surag village, other members of the wedding party alerted the local police regarding the three individuals' disappearance, sources stated.
